Did Bollywood 'biggies' got your site shutdown once?
Nope, they wish.
Actually right after the Times of India article about our launch appeared, we received a 50 fold increase in our traffic, and a lot of angry Bollywood fans wanted to vent their anger at our utter-disrespect for their beloved movie industry, but all they managed to do was leave some incomprehensible comments and push our commenting script's usage through the roof. Finally our machine gave up, and public access to our website had to be temporarily disabled.
Sorry if you tried to visit us during those 8 hours of February 23rd, 2005. It wasn't us... but neither was it any 'Bollywood biggie'.
As a result of that event though, we changed our commenting policies to allow only [Typekey] registered users to comment on movies and questions. (But on our relaunch in October 2007, we again enabled anonymous commenting.)

People sometimes try to keep themselves busy, atleast they pretend so, as you must have heard "Khaali dimaag shaitan ka ghar!" (I hope you understand other than English). In no way am I trying to defend Bollywood, but I am having a grievance against Pakistan too. Well what about the legendary band "Junoon" ? No plagiarism I believe, superb performers, but Pakistan went after their asses for quite a while (it chases its own people down the gutter), precisely to the point of no return; and yes, it is always said that "Plagiarism also needs brains." - "Nakal ke liye bhee akal chahiye!" and without this plagiarism only Bollywood has given some better(and to your sheer horror--ORIGINAL) films, some superb plots that even Hollywood cannot dream of--well, how's this? Can Hollywood recreate the anguish of "Deewar"(Amitabh Bacchan, Shashi Kapoor, Nirupa Rai)? The Modus Vivendi of "Anand"? What about the frolic of "Chupke Chupke" and "Golmaal"? (Have you watched all this? I bet you don't do things right!) Well, thanks but no thanks, because we do not need your enlightenment! In due course of time, we will discover it all for ourselves. And if you are so desperate, please do not trouble others for their research work on movies (ISN'T IT A SHAME THAT YOU ARE ASKING THEM TO WATCH MORE HINDI MOVIES? WHAT AN IRONY?), you may hire plenty of men in your country(all free) and sit to do the job, do not spread the crap all over, it will only backfire, Right? And yes, one last word. When what I want is sheer(you may call it cheap or whatever but that does mean that you have watched it yourself) entertainment, I will prefer a decent Bollywood flick(copy is no problem) over seriously genuine but absolutely rotten and bullcrap movies like Terminator3, Jeepers Creepers or Matrix Revolutions.....(the list is endless)!!!
If these guys can copy recklessly then why cant we copy the origional CD's/ DVD's .. who are they to tell us "Be Original Buy Original" when they lack their own identity
Dear Bollycat heroes, I have written to you in the past and here I am writing to you one again. You seem to have ventured into Bollywood plagiarised songs as well. Congrats! But there is one Indian website which is doing a brilliant job. Its called http://www.itwofs.com and I hope you check it out. It is really brilliant work. I am very much an Indian (from Bombay), but I am all for exposing this fraud industry called "Bollywood" run by the pygmies and scum of India. Please continue with your really noble effort. You may e-mail Karthik, the guy who runs http://www.itwofs.com/ at 6times9@gmail.com and may be collaborate. May be it is time you guys collaborated and came out with a PRINT EDITION just like Wikipedia. These Bollywood frauds ought to be relentlessly exposed even if it takes another generation. The only reason Bollywood exists is because the common man in India doesn't understand the English language and doesn't watch English and foreign language movies. In fact, Bollywood is the biggest organised piracy racket going on. How I wish Hollywood got serious and sued the pants of these Bollywood bastards! Dear friends, you are rendering yeoman service and all I can tell you is that you must keep up your good work! Hats off to you heroes!!!
Bollywood cannot use its brain. See the movies real well...and all you people who defend bollywood....you will find it out. som one said...can hollywood came those chupke...or soemthing/....why would they have to copy those flicks...
and i guess the guys who r doing this site...they'r not khali dimag...bla bla saitan...
some ppl cant stand plagiarism..and i fall in that...till the have fun..defending...hahahaa...
