36 ghante
Both movies follow three escaped convicts who've taken a family hostage in their own house.
"The Desperate Hours" starred Humphrey Bogart and Frederick March and was hailed as a fine example of director William Wyler works. It was based on a play by Joseph Hayes.
"36 Ghante" (36 Hours) is basically the same movie, but with added Indianization of course. The part of the protagonist's daugther is exchanged for a sister, who's all grown up and sexy and bound to provide some "masala" to a movie that's mostly shot on a boring indoor set.
