Zeher a bollycat of Out of Time
This movie was first submitted on March 10th, by "Cati", who added two and two by looking at the previews and the fact that the movie's credits include the word "Bhatt". It's been submitted 7 times since then.
"Out of Time" follows a Florida police chief who must solve a vicious double homicide before he himself falls under suspicion. The Denzel Washington starrer has now been converted into the laboured and lumbering no-show in "Zehar" - where Siddharth, a perpetually drunk and raging inspector, more than meets his match in the sultry Anna, a wanton material girl. Of course our BollyCat is not based in Florida, but that just might be the only difference between the two movies. Subhadeep writes that he figured this out within 5 minutes of "Zeher" (Poison), adding that "director has not bothered to change anything."
Venkat Tummala says recommend movie goers to skip "Zeher", telling them that shouldn't "waste 3 hours watching 'Zeher' when they can have a better experience watching "Out of Time" in an hour and a half. Javeed adds that "even the dialogues are translated to Hindi".
But there are two more interesting points to note here, which thank fully Archana brings to out attention. 1. Out of Time is a B movie that cost $75 to make and market, making only $55 million worldwide and 2. "Zeher" is the "brain-child" of Mahes Bhatt, master of unrepentable plagiarism. Won't the Bhatts ever give up?
We'll copy Archana's verdict on this one:
Dont waste your time on this movie.
Thanks also to Jigar for submitting this one.
