Rog a bollycat of Laura

"Rog", like most Mahesh Bhatt movies, is inspired by a 1944 film "Laura". Karthik (our contributor) further writes that he found this out by simply googling for the term "movie+cop+murder+investigation+falls in love with the victim"... It's that simple!

A review of "Laura" reviews all accross the web tells you the same story. Like this one from Amazon: "The cop is a romantic hiding under a hard-boiled exterior who falls in love with the beautiful victim through the portrait that hangs in her apartment, when one lonely night he turns from the picture to see Laura walk through the door...".
