Partner a bollycat of Hitch

| | Comments (2)
Partner.jpgThe only thing different (or missing) here was not using a person's name for the title. Partner... Why not Ajay, Kumar or Salman? Wouldn't that be more befitting for this Hitch copy? Anyway, as far the two movies are concerned, they both follow a dating guru who guarantees a girl for losers like Govinda or Kevin James. Added is the usual pinch of song and dance according to taste.

Hitch.jpgBut there's another thing that's seems unworldly for this case: Hollywood is actually suing - or thinking about suing - the makers of Partner. We believe this is a major shift in Hollywood's policy towards unofficial Bollywood remakes. And the biggest reason is Bollywood's ever growing market overseas. Think about it, Sony would make much more money (they're making nothing now!) if the the producers of Partner had actually paid Sony to do a remake, or better yet Sony Pictures India had done it on it's own? That's a no brainer. We don't really expect Bollywood producers to touch their ears and stop copying just yet though... I mean there are so many good Hollywood movies they are looking forward to copying watching.

one more case of basic facts missing..hey ppl u have put up a website here bashing the hindi film industry, atleast get the entire story printed...ok partner was a rip-off from hitch which even david dhawan acknowledged before the movie was released. But the concept was love guru is itself taken from a hindi movie of the 1970 called CHHOTI SI BAAT starring amol plaekar and ashok kumar as the guru (COL. Julius Nagendranath Wilfred Singh)..so the original movie is not born in the country whose ass u are so ready to lick up but in India itself...in leisure i will let u know more about the other great movies..heard of the great Bengal film industry and its classics?...let me guess the answer... NO...ur website has done a good job of collecting data but please have the facts together...
