Mohabattein a bollycat of Dead Poet's Society
Both movies revolve around this whole thing about over-pressured college kids who are being pursuaded by this one unorthodox teacher to go against the flow, break the shackles of status-quo and do something different... as in poetry for the original, and love in the BollyCat.
I wish I had teachers like that... who change lives, one at a time. ;)
Oh yes, and I really love to point this one out... Both schools have red color coats as part of the uniform... coincidence? I guess the Indian screenwriters thought "Why not the coat color too? To hell with originality!"

Mohabbatein does a disservice to Dead Poet's Society. Three hours of mind-numbing boredom. I blame this movie for my fucking up the IIT-JEE. Yash Chopra owes me a seat at IIT-Kanpur! :-P
BollyCat guys have made a totally absurd comparision of "mohabbatein" with Dead Poets Society. Have you seen both the films ????? are you outta your senses ???? ShahRukh Khan was trying to teach students the importance of love and he had a love interest in Aishwarya Rai who commits suicide..Now where is that in Dead Poets Society? have u seen the ending of DPS, where all the students just stand on the table and bid Robin williams a farewell....YUCK MAN !!!! the only similarity is a principal who is very strict and then comes a teacher who is completly opposite..!!!!
and Mr. Anant mathur, Yash Chopra didn't asked you to fuck up your IIT JEE exam....you couldn't write it well coz its not your cup of tea !!! a piece of advice for you is: "AVOID WATCHING MOVIES DURING EXAMS LIKE IIT-JEE OR YOU WILL FUCKED UP ALL THE TIME"

I'm just stunned!!!! I have no words.....Mohabbatein and DPS? tell me, was it the red uniform? I had an inspirational teacher at school where we wore red unforms... I think that's where the similarities end....Once again WATCH THE MOVIES FIRST!!
