"Khel is a copy of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels", or so we are told by Arati. She mentions that "Ishq", another movie that was submitted for ripping off "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels", is not a BollyCat. After doing some research of our own, we agree with her, especially since IMDb lists it as such.

Tayyaba mentions that the plot & characters of Anil Kapoor and Anupam Kher are same as the two protagonists in the original. She calls it "a scene by scene copy".
