Sunjay Dutt does a Bridget Fonda. The protagonist is given a choice to become an official assasin for the goverment or stay and die in oblivion. Of course, he / she chooses a life of freedom and starts loving life again... but that's not all, the goverment has more plans for this spared soul.

Oh, before we miss it, Kartoos is a Mahesh Bhatt film.
