Ek Chhoti si Love Story a bollycat of Malèna
Let's set one thing straight first: No matter how good Manisha Koirala's ass looks on the silver screen, it's really no match for Monica Bellucci's ass. Period.
Now on to the story...
The movies revolve around a kid in his early teens who's obsessed with this super hot women (like there aren't enough men around with that problem). He follows her around on his bike (yes, on both movies!).
The only differences are:
-The live right accross from each other (for easier viewing).
-The woman actually tries to seduce the poor kid (with some not wanted results).
-And there are no Nazis.

This is a common misconception that Ek Chhot Si... is based on Malena. It isnt, actually the movie has been copied from a polish film - Krótki film o milosci (A Short Film about Love)

It is a stupid talk. "Eak Chotisi Love Story" is no way near to "Malena". Both the story lines are diffrent only a similarity that the kid in his early teens who's obsessed with this super hot women.
One who added this as a COPYCAT have not seen both the movies properly and just want to make this list big

"Ek Chhoti Si Love Story" is a frame by frame copy of polish director Krzysztof Kieslowski's movie "Krótki film o miłości" [english title: A Short Film About Love].

Right from translation of name to camera angles used everything has been copied. The only thing movie is unable to copy is the message of Kieslowski's movie, mis-interpretation of sixth of Ten Commandment: thou shalt not commit adultery. Ek Chhoti Si Love Story misses to convey the message, probably the makers never looked at it from the very beginning.
Malena is a totally different story which happens to have a similarity of a teenaged boy fascinates and voyeurs an elderly woman. This fact apart the theme is different.
