Badal [2000] A terrorist moves into a cop's house as a guest. The cop has no clue and really starts trusting the stranger, who's only similarity with him is that they both share the same background... until he finds out who this guy really is. What would he do?

The acting in the BollyCat hardly compares to Brad Pitt and Harrison Ford in the original. But that onscreen team came with it's own package: Brad Pitt was sued because he wanted to leave the project, and the script was rewritten atleast 7 times. (But that's still good material for Bollywood to copy from!)

The director has said in some interview that Badal has originated from the riot happened in Punjab and the true story of a kid who happened to grow up in a police officer's house. But, in real life he did not do all those stunts
