About Us

BollyCat.com was born out of frustation. Frustation at the huge amounts of crap being fed to the Hindi/Urdu movie crowd around the world. Yes, there are millions of fans out there who like Bollywood movies just the way they are: full of non-sense. But those are the same people we are fighting for, they deserve better.

But copying Hollywood makes for quality movies! No copy is ever as good as the original. And frankly, if anyone has seen the "original", they can do nothing but make fun of the way Bollywood copies everything without missing t crossing or an i dotting. Just the way we do.

Anyway, this website was conceived on 02/08/05 while Haydur Agha was sunk inside a fake leather sofa at some friends place while a few of his peers were fighting over whether to watch an English flick, a Bollywood movie or just let the nerds in the group play Halo 1-on-1. The domain was registered the same night, and the website was up and running in 2 days. Now for the legal shmegal stuff...
